-Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery shall not be considered.

Sustainability Communications and Events Coordinator
Scope of Work:
-Executes communications and marketing materials that promote the goals and mission of the Sustainability at KAUST.
-Develop high-quality, effective print materials and messaging, including researching and writing effective communications pieces.
-Create design and layout of publications; researches, recommends and implements communications and marketing projects, develops design and content for sustainability website and dashboard, and develops content and strategies for social media communications.
-Evaluate and report on effectiveness of communications strategies and recommends changes or improvements.
-Managing sustainability events with the goal of promoting KAUSTs sustainability efforts to the university community and building a culture of environmental sustainability on campus.
-Create, as needed, community-based social marketing plans and outreach materials including posters, flyers, prompts, emails, and other materials in support of behavior change initiatives.
-Communicate KAUST progress toward its sustainability commitments and regional greenhouse gas goals through the dashboard.
-Design and organize outreach events and provide support to other programs run by the department.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
Competencies:
-Excellent command of oral and written English.
-Experience with graphic design softwares
-Experience designing and running community based marketing campaigns
-Creative, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial with high level of energy and initiative
-High degree of flexibility, adaptability and ability to respond to emerging opportunities in a constantly changing environment
-Well organized and detail oriented advanced knowledge of MS and other relevant software
-Flexible and delivers high-quality results within deadlines
-Ability to work across business functions and with diverse work group; foster a cooperative work environment
Qualifications:
-Minimum BS/BA in communications design, marketing, public relations, business or related communications and marketing field. Coursework or other training in community-based social marketing social marketing, market research and/or behavior change.
Experience:
-Minimum 2 years of related experience in communications, marketing, community engagement campaigns, posters design and sustainability awareness.
Additional Requirement:
-Excellent communications skills writing, conflict management, presentation, inter-personal .
-Ability to initiate and implement projects with teams and work independently with little direct oversight.
-Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of environmental sustainability issues, green living, energy conservation, recycling, behavior change strategies, etc.
